Job Description:
As a CDL A Delivery Route Driver at Performance Foodservice, you
will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of
high-quality food products to our diverse clientele across the U.S.
You will operate in a dynamic transportation environment, adhering
to strict safety protocols while representing our commitment to
exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent driving
skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently
under minimal supervision. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to
transport food products to customers based on assigned routes.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform
preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
as efficiently as possible. Manage documentation associated with
delivered goods and maintain accurate records. Follow DOT
regulations and safety standards. Strong ability to operate and
manage large vehicles. Proficient in using GPS and other routing
systems. Ability to lift heavy loads and remain flexible with work
hours. Strong organizational and time management skills. Medical
Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
required. DOT medical card. Safe driving record.
