* Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.--- Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.--- Responsible for special testing requirements for all customer samples and parts--- Utilize basic electronic troubleshooting toolsDMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, spectrum analyzers, and data collection.
* Analysis of test yields and trends to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
* Evaluation of new designs for proposed test methods and test coverage.
* Reading and understanding schematics, drawings, and parts lists.
* Provide recommendations and justification for new tests and equipmentBasic Qualifications for Engineer Test:--- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other STEM related technical discipline with 2 years of experience; 0 years with Masters.
* Experience with testing or troubleshooting electronics assemblies.
* Must be able to collaborate in a team environment, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.
* Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, and parts list.
* Must be able to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.
* Must be able to effectively present data, actions, and conclusions to managementBasic Qualifications for Principal Engineer Test:--- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other STEM related technical discipline with 5 years of experience; 3 years with Masters.
* Experience with testing or troubleshooting electronics assemblies.
* Must be able to collaborate in a team environment, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.
* Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, and parts list.
* Must be able to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.
* Must be able to effectively present data, actions, and conclusions to managementPreferred Qualifications:--- Experience developing software applications.
* SAP experience.
* Experience with test plan creation.
* Experience developing test requirements.
* Experience with data analysis software (Tableau, Matlab, Python, Excel, or others).
* Experience in signal analysis.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Salary Range: $65,500 - $102,700
Salary Range 2: $84,200 - $126,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditionsEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base payAnnual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company resultsEmployees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term IncentivesIn addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
