Job Description Job Description: When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: a PRN Physician with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals, including 1-2 other providers, who are committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role: - You will practice at Draper InstaCare Clinic in Draper, Utah – just south of Salt Lake City as your primary clinic - You will see patients of all ages in an Urgent Care setting - Your clinical time will be 12-hour shifts, days evenings, and may fall on a Sunday through Saturday (open 7 days a week) - Float shifts at nearby Intermountain Clinics are expected from time to time; requires an occasional commute What you’ll bring: - MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine - Residency training in Family Medicine / Primary Care - Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline - Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one - Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one - Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process - The ability to efficiently utilize our electronic health record EPIC - Previous Experience in an urgent care /emergency department setting preferred How we support you: PRN Physicians will have medical malpractice/liability with tail coverage starting from your date of hire.
