Job Description: When you join us, you'll become a part of a

role: As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) or Nurse Practitioner
(NP) for Podiatry, you will practice with a Surgical Foot and Ankle
team based at McKay-Dee Hospital and Layton Hospital. This APP or
NP will work independently in an outpatient setting alongside
surgical podiatrists. Responsibilities include: Seeing
post-operative patients Holding return office visits and consulting
on cases Assessing common cases that include fractures, total ankle
replacements, bunions, hammer toe, at-risk foot care, etc. This is
a full-time, fully benefits-eligible position. We anticipate the
APP or NP to work standard working hours (M-F; 8 am - 5 pm), with a
potential to work 4x10's. There is no required call time. An ideal
candidate will be a NP with prior orthopedic, foot and ankle,

APRN degree from an accredited program Active, unobstructed Utah
medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and

University. Layton is a community 77,300 located 15 miles south of
Ogden and 28 miles north of the Salt Lake International airport. It

schools. In October 2018, Intermountain Healthcare opened their 23
rd hospital, the new Layton Hospital serving the growing population
in Davis County. Ongoing need for employee to see and read
information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors,
identify equipment and supplies. - and - Frequent interactions with
patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require
employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand
spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and
accurately, particularly during emergency situations. - and -
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and
delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes
frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care,
accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. - and -
Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer
patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and
equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and
including heavy items. - and - Need to walk and assist with
transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing
supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and
portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to
navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on
the floor, etc). - and - May be expected to stand in a stationary
position for an extended period of time. Location: Intermountain

listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $56.76
