well-qualified Principal or Senior Principal Windows Systems
Administrator to join its dynamic team of technical professionals
in the Roy, Utah area in support of the GBSD Program. Our brand-new
facility in Roy, Utah area will provide a clean and safe place to
continue your career and grow with us. Our program is still
relatively new, and this is the perfect time to join us as we lay
the foundation for this unique endeavor. Roles and responsibilities
will include but not be limited to: · Perform as Windows Systems
Administrator for a medium to large sized classified government
contract. · Communicate effectively at all levels of the
organization, with internal and external customers, in written and
oral format. · Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer
systems, including coordination with network, software, and system
engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and
customer and IT management. · Support multiple networks; ensure
necessary administration tasks are completed. · Work closely with
System Engineering and other team members to develop recommended
system improvements, upgrades, and solutions. · Recommend and
implement system enhancements to improve performance and
reliability of systems, including installing, upgrading/patching,
monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management. ·
Administer backup and recovery services; manage file systems and
disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis. · Create
and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions
and security access lists. · Test new releases of products to
ensure compatibility and minimize user impact. · Develop and
document technical processes and procedures as needed. · Make
recommendations to purchase hardware, software, and system
components. · Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with
team members, suppliers, customers, and vendors. · Adhere to strict
Information Systems security guidelines in all cases. · Maintain
security audit and logging information on all networked and
standalone computers in a classified environment as directed by the
Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). · Prepare security
documentation for input to Computer Security. · Report on project
status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts. ·
Work under minimal direction and independently determine and
develop approach to solutions. · Provide end of day and end of week
task status to management. · DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline
certification (example: Security CE), or have the ability to obtain
the required certification within 6 months of start date as a
condition of continued employment. This position may be filled at
either level 3 (Principal) or level 4 (Senior Principal), depending
on the required qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications
for a Principal (Level 3) · Associate's degree and 8 years of
related experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related
experience, or Master’s degree and 4 years of related experience; a
High School diploma or equivalent and 9 years of related experience
may be considered in lieu of a completed degree. · Candidates must
be eligible to obtain DoD Secret security clearance following hire.
· The ability to be granted special program access (SAP/SAR) within
1 year of hire date. · The ability to maintain both your security
clearance and program access once obtained will be required for
this position. · Windows Server Administration & Management
experience. · Windows Domain architecture experience. · Windows
Active Directory, Windows Domain administration experience. ·
Microsoft MECM, SCCM, WSUS, and/or SMS experience. · Current
Security CE (or other DoD 8570 certification), or the ability to
obtain certification within 6 months of hire date. · Ability to
lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. · Ability to work after
hours and weekends as needed. Basic Qualifications for a Level 4: ·
Associate's degree and 12 years of related experience, or
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience, or Master’s
degree and 8 years of related experience; a High School diploma or
equivalent and 14 years of related experience may be considered in
lieu of a completed degree. Candidates must be eligible to obtain
DoD Secret security clearance following hire. · The ability to be
granted special program access (SAP/SAR) within 1 year of hire
date. · The ability to maintain both your security clearance and
program access is required for this position. · Windows Server
Administration & Management experience. · Windows Domain
architecture experience. · Windows Active Directory, Windows Domain
administration experience. · Microsoft MECM, SCCM, WSUS, and/or SMS
experience. · Current Security CE (or other DoD 8570
certification), or the ability to obtain certification within 6

Preferred Qualifications: · Active DoD Secret security clearance
with an adjudication or reinvestigation date within the past 5
years. · Microsoft SA, SE, or Architect level certifications. ·
Microsoft Active Directory administration experience. · Microsoft
MECM, SCCM, SMS. · Microsoft Exchange architecture & administration
experience. · Microsoft SharePoint architecture & administration
experience. · Microsoft PowerShell scripting experience. ·
Experience with PXE boot process and network imaging process. ·
Experience managing systems under NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD
503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG system environments. · Experience
installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a
networked environment. · Understanding basic networking, including
subnets, routing and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certification.
· Experience installing, configuring, maintaining and using various
virtual hosting environments including VMWare, Nutanix, KVM, and
Hyper-V. · Experience with cloud hosting environments including AWS
and Azure. · Experience with the Linux Operating System. ·
Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar
Winds/Splunk). · Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
Primary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00 Secondary
Level Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00 The above salary
range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman
considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers
such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the
candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
