Steward/Dishwasher (Non-Exempt Employee)
Responsible for the cleanliness of all china, glass
and silver as well as all small-wares. Carryout daily cleaning
assignments meeting or exceeding Embassy Suites standards. Perform
all cleaning and ware-washing tasks in accordance with state and
local sanitary guidelines and in-house minimum standards.
Reports to: Executive Chef, Sous Chef
Interfaces with: Staff
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Carry out all cleaning tasks assigned in a timely
manner in accordance with sanitation codes and in-house minimum
On a daily basis, wash all china, glass and
silverware according to standard procedure.
Put away all cleaned items in assigned storage
areas and containers.
Empty and wash all trash receptacles on a shift by
Wash by hand and air dry all movable
On pre-assigned days, wash all fixed equipment
following guidelines set forth by our cleaning manuals.
Must be able to communicate effectively in reading,
writing and following directions.
Ability to lift 30 pounds to shoulder level.
Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Possess a current and valid food handlers
