Position Summary:

The responsibilities of the Accounting Sr. Manager/Director include aligning current Accounting and Finance systems to work seamlessly together. Ensures financial systems from newly acquired companies are integrated within financial systems at Ivanti. Directs monthly executive report preparation and analysis to drive optimal business results.

Accounting department overall responsibility for systems and operations as well as associated analysis and report preparation. The Sr. Manager/Director will report to the Corporate Controller and be a key partner in the Accounting organization to provide financial insight and analysis for business decisions. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent operational and project management skills especially with financial system integrations into common platforms. In addition, the individual should demonstrate strong financial analysis skills, business operations experience, excellent communication skills and enjoy working across functions & global organizations to achieve financial and operational objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Process Improvement - Effectively apply system development and continuous process improvement methodologies to direct, build, maintain and improve finance and accounting applications.
• Direct and build accounting and financial system integrations seamlessly as we bring multiple systems from acquired companies into common platforms at Ivanti.
• Financial Reporting - direct monthly executive financial management reporting related to bookings, revenue, headcount, and expenses.
• Financial / Business Analysis - Apply analytical and modelling techniques to examine financial trends and propose recommended actions to leadership team.
• Problem Solving / Analysis - Uses the right mix of programming skills, quantitative skills, and business knowledge to identify problems or opportunities amenable to advanced analytics solutions and provide insights and influence action.
• Coordinates related work with external audits and Quarterly earnings reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10-15 years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience within a multinational business, preferably within a software or technology company.
• Ability to build, lead, and mentor cross functional teams as we integrate newly acquired companies and systems.
• Advanced skills in SAP, MS Excel and financial reporting tools. Familiarity with Salesforce, Power Bi, SQL, and/or Adaptive Insights are a plus
• Program management skills for programs, projects & processes
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and produce time sensitive deliverables
• Demonstrates high level of business acumen by understanding global business context and able to provide perspective and insight on key business decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with senior level executives
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting, required.

Education/Licensing/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related quantitative field
• MBA or MAcc equivalent a plus
